The purpose of ManPoints is to allow men to informally accumulate "points" (earnin') for doing nice things for a woman that can then be used to offset typical "man blunders" (burnin').
So just what are some examples of "man blunders" that could send me to the doghouse?"Remember, you need enough accumulated ManPoints to pay down the blunder to stay out of the doghouse. If you have no ManPoints to spend, you will need to write her an IOU and pay it down with a good deed.
1. NOT cleaning up after himself
2. Never taking the initiative to do household chores
3. Lack of conversation - failing to listen and instead lectures,
or brushes her problem off as a waste of time
4. Staying out with the guys too late and not calling
5. Dressing too casually in public when with her (saggy pants,
holes in old t-shirts)
6. Berating or embarrassing her in a social setting - inadvertently
or intentionally

Short answer: You're going to have to get yourself out of the doghouse by writing an IOU for something you're going to do to make it up to her. ie: I'll do the dishes tomorrow after dinner.
